Additional extension DSA

Dear Efe, We have been asked by the study advisor to grant you an additional extension. To make things concrete: You have already used the one-time extension of 72 hours (3 days) on Assignment 1. You are allowed to use the extension of 72 hours (3 days) once more, either for Assignment 2 or Assignment 3 (but not both). If I understood the study advisor correctly, this should be an appropriate resolution. If I misunderstood, please reach out to me. Best, Thomas

Question about grading session

Dear DSAI course, I have had the flu the past week, but yesterday I thought I had recovered enough to attend the grading session. However I woke up quite sick this morning and I do not think I will be able to make it to the grading session due to having a fever. I was wondering if it's allowed to move the grading to another date this week under this circumstance (as I've already signed up for today), and if so what would be the best way to contact my TA (Mike). Hi Vlad, Of course the decision is yours, but allow me to share my two cents on the Efe Aras situation (see Thien An's [great initials: TA] previous mail): In my opinion, these kinds of situations are exactly what the 3-day extension is for, but this should really stay an incidental exception. I don't see the need for allowing him an additional extension. Unless the study advisor explicitly tells us there would be legitimate reasons to do so. Best, Thomas

A student, Efe Aras, has already used the 3-day late submission allowance due to family circumstances but is asking if he can use another 3-day late submission if needed. Beste Thomas, Ik kreeg zojuist de mail binnen over het overnemen van cijfers van afgelopen jaar. Wat onwijs fijn! Als eerste, bedankt daarvoor! Vraagje daarover, zou het mogelijk zijn om de cijfers van de assignments over te nemen en het cijfer van de quizzes wel over te doen? Ik ben vorig jaar domweg veel van de quizzes vergeten doordat ik heel druk was in aanloop naar mijn internationale competities. Gezien ik het dit jaar graag haal en mijn best hier ook graag voor wil doen ben ik sowieso van plan die quizzes te maken als oefening en dit jaar ook bij iedere lecture alles goed te leren en herhalen :). Momenteel zit ik ook voor langere periode in het buitenland om te trainen. Ze weten hier dat ik ook nog een studie doe dus die quizzes maken gaat zeker lukken! Assignments erbij wordt wel ingewikkelder qua tijd denk ik... Ik focus me dan liever op alle stof goed leren en de quizzes maken. Laat maar weten! Groetjes, Anna Brandjes 13956116
