Hello everyone, I am proud to announce our very first lab-meets-lab meeting on January 17. We'll have 3 presentations from Hot Politics Lab members and 3 presentations from members of the group around Reinout de Vries (Psychology, VU Amsterdam). There is a lot of interesting overlap between the two groups, and so I think this will be a very interesting meeting. Everyone is welcome to join. Do note that we start a little earlier than usual because we will have 6 (!) exciting talks. Hi everyone, This Friday will be the last Hot Politics lab meeting of 2019. We have two presenters. Loes Aaldering will present her veni proposal: "Seeing the bigger picture. The consequences of (non)verbal gender stereotyping in politicians' media coverage for media consumption and political attitudes". See attached her proposal, especially section 2a, 4a and 4b are relevant. Furthermore, Gijs Schumacher will present "Yikes! Are we disgusted by politicians?".
