Hi everyone,

This Friday (27th November) it’s again Graduate Friday at the Hot Politics Lab, but this time an extra long meeting: from 15:00 till 16:30. In this session we will have three talks:

  1. Tobias Rohrbach (University of Fribourg / University of Amsterdam) will give a talk titled ““Meta-analysis of gender differences in mediated candidate evaluations: Preliminary results”.
  2. Afterwards PhD candidate Lala Muradova Huseynova (KU Leuven) will give a talk titled “COVID-19 Disinformation and Minipublics: Experimental Evidence from the US and Ireland”.
  3. Finally, Dante Della Gatta (University of Amsterdam) will give a talk titled: “Same Anger, Different Perception? Gender Bias in Emotion Perception of Male and Female Politicians”  (co-authored by Maaike Homan, Victor Hartman,  Isabel Pullman, Liska Suckau and Gijs Schumacher).

For each talk we have time for Q&A, and everybody is welcome to join via Zoom at 3pm (CET).  You can join the lab meeting with this link: https://uva-live.zoom.us/j/96492065253.
