Hi everyone,
This Friday (May 1st) from 15:00 – 16:00 we will have another exciting online lab meeting! In this session of the Online Hot Politics Lab, Ming Boyer (University of Vienna, Communication Science) will present a paper on the role
of affective states in explaining motivated reasoning in response to political news (see attachment). Afterwards, Melissa Baker (UC Merced, Political Science) will present a paper on political engagement and the susceptibility to anxiety.
The talk will be followed by a Q&A, and everybody is welcome to join via Zoom:
https://zoom.us/j/839478901 at 3pm (CET). This is the same link we use every Friday.
Below an update of the program of the coming weeks:
If you missed any of the previous online hot politics lab meetings, or just want to watch them again, you can find all video and audio recordings of our last four online meetings in our Online Hot Politics Lab Meetings archive

Hope to “see” you all Friday!
