Hi everyone,
Please find attached the Draft (Theoretical Framework) I will present tomorrow afternoon. I will present this plus a short proposal for an empirical strategy to test the hypotheses that the paper leads up to.
I look forward discussing it with all of you!
Best,
Isabella

Dear all,
I’m always happy to be a tour guide in Amstelveen for the lost people of Amsterdam! :) Let’s meet at 13.50 in front of the bookstore inside in the VU’s main building. I pick you all up a once and bring you to the department! :)
Best, Mariken

Onderwerp: [Hotpoliticslab] goodbye to Erik & meeting next Friday
Hello everyone,
Tomorrow afternoon at 5 in CREA we’ll have drinks to say goodbye to Erik de Vries. It’s his last week here, before he returns to the University of Stavanger.
Friday we have a special meeting. It starts at 2 at the Free University, at the Department of Communication Science. This is in the main building of the VU, floor 3, section E. There probably Mariken needs to guide us in. We will have two
presentations, first Isabella Rebasso will present a first draft of her 8 months paper on the role of Anger in politics. Then, we’ll have Erik de Vries who will present his paper on sentiment analysis of news media. After this we will go to Catherine de Vries’
“oratie”. This is a public speech in honor of her appointment as full professor at the VU. This is also the reason why we’re holding our meeting at the VU.
Kind regards,
Dr. Gijs Schumacher
