Hi everyone,

This Friday (June 19th) from 16:00 – 17:00 we will have another online lab meeting. This time we will have Chris Frederic (U Minnesota) as our guest. He will talk about "Collective Narcissism as a Basis for Nationalism". Please note that this session is scheduled from 4pm - 5pm!

The talk will be followed by a Q&A, and everybody is welcome to join via Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/839478901 at 4pm (CET). This is the same link we use every Friday.

Next week will be the last lab meeting of this academic year. In this session of the Online Hot Politics Lab, PhD candidate Isabella Rebasso (UvA Political Science) will present her work on discrete emotional appeals in politics. Afterwards, PhD candidate Tobias Rohrbach (UoFribourg) will give a talk titled "Using think-aloud protocol analysis to explore the process of gendered candidate evaluations".

If you missed any of the previous online hot politics lab meetings, or just want to watch them again, you can find all video and audio recordings of our last online meetings in our Online Hot Politics Lab Meetings archive here.

Have a great rest of the week and hope to “see” you all Friday!

Best,

Maaike Homan
