Hi everyone,

This week we will have a lab meeting again! We will have two great presentations. First we will have a presentation by Amanda Friesen (visiting scholar from IUPUI). She will present a project co-authored by Mariken van der Velden, titled "Taking risks or playing safe: Gender and party effects in politicians' certainty and risk rhetoric, Ireland & UK 1988-2015." Second, Gijs Schumacher will present "How to organize a workflow with multiple authors?

Furthermore, we are looking for some people interested in helping us during data collection at a film festival in Nijmegen next week. We are conducting one of our physiology experiments and it would be great to have a little bit more help with recruiting participants, informing them about the experimental procedure, helping with the experiments and other small tasks. We are going 7,8,9,10th of November from 13:00 till 21:00 (on Sunday till 19:00), any help is welcome. Of course we will pay you for all the hours and expenses. Let me know if you're interested or know anyone who might be interested!
