Dear Madam / Sir
How do we communicate facts and campaigns about climate change with maximum effect? Researchers work on this question. Climate change communication professionals work on this. But, in our view, knowledge is scattered, and there is too little interaction between academics and professionals. We think this is a pity. We can learn a lot from each other. We believe that the combination of scientific rigor and the experience and access of climate change communication professionals is essential in maximizing the effect of climate campaigns. In other words, to save everything we hold dearly, we should work together. So for starters, let’s get together: present findings, and exchange experiences.
Our first meeting will be on March 7. We will have two talks by academics, and plenty of time for discussion and exchanging experiences.
Please let us know whether you will come. And also please spread the word. Everyone is welcome.
If you would like to present something yourself or raise a specific point, please do let us know.
