The format is to have 2.5 hours of short talks (in English). It is not required to have attendedNeurIPS, and presenters would usually not present their own papers. Talks are generally quite informal, and we like to keep a friendly atmosphere, so this is an ideal opportunity for PhD students to gain experience in presenting.
