This session provides social science researchers with a map of where AI can help in the research process today and where it can’t, alongside honest engagement with real objections to AI use. This is a conceptual grounding session rather than a hands-on tutorial, with more hands-on and practical sessions on topics such as privacy, coding assistance, and agentic workflows to follow.
