We also warmly invite you to the workshop of our visiting fellow Professor George Leckie, on April 16th (13:00 - 16:00)! Professor Leckie will introduce Multilevel Analysis of Individual Heterogeneity and Discriminatory Accuracy (MAIHDA). MAIHDA is an increasingly popular method for studying intersectional inequalities in individual outcomes. A typical application might examine how mean reading scores vary across combinations of sex, ethnicity, and social class, and disability. In his seminar, professor Leckie will introduce the approach, explore its links to intersectional theory, and outline its various extensions, illustrating each with examples from published applications. The seminar is followed by a workshop providing participants with hands-on experience on applying MAIHDA in R or Stata.
